默默的相思

今天一早打开电脑，看到夏帏兄传来的一些文档和照片，其中还有一首日本老歌 - 坂本九（Kyu Sakamoto）的名曲“Ueo muite aruko”（最初的原版录音，由坂本九本人演唱）。歌名原为“我仰头而行”的意思。但当年歌曲在欧美当红时，富有生意眼的行内老外们，为了方便普及推广，把名字改为和原曲意毫无关联，也毫无意义的“Sukiyaki”（注），相比之下，还是普遍中译歌名《默默的相思》比较有意思。

打开文档，昔日熟悉的歌声响起。一时间，许多童年往事都涌上心头。

这无疑是坂本九最脍炙人口的歌曲，这首歌曲曾于1963年连续三个星期在美国流行音乐排行榜上高居榜首。同时，它也是有史以来第一首出现在英国流行音乐排行榜上的日语歌曲。从那时开始，这首歌曲便一直在世界上以不同语言传唱不衰。

这也许是我最喜爱的一首日语歌曲，但由于不懂日文，因此一直以来对歌词内容都不甚了了，也不求甚解（可见音乐旋律之重要）。近半个世纪后的今天，上网一查，才第一次领略歌曲的情意。

歌词大意如下：
